Accident Claims Helpline - The Claiming Process

Author: Accident Claims Helpline

If you have had an accident that wasn\'t your fault you should claim compensation for your injuries with the help of a personal injury compensation specialist. Claiming personal injury compensation couldn\'t be any easier.
Here is a little bit of information about the claiming process.
After your accident your insurer can choose to pass your details on to one of our consultants, we will then give you a call and see if you were injured in your accident.
Alternatively you can make a phone call or fill in an online claim form and get a call back from a specialist personal injury consultant.
After all the details have been taken a member of the team does a few checks on your claim and does a few checks on the third party.
An agent can then be sent out to a meeting point, to meet with you and talk you through the claiming process and to sign some paperwork with you.
Note: at any point during your claim you can call the team and the specialist dealing with your claim will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
If necessary you will then be sent for a medical with a member of the teams medical staff. This is a question and answer session in which they can find out the extent of you injuries. Your claim will then be passed onto a specialist personal injury solicitor.
Note: The solicitor will contact you regularly throughout your claim to make sure your kept up to date with what is happening with your claim.
The solicitors will then contact the third party insurers and ask them to pay 100of the compensation.
At this point your claim will either be accepted meaning responsibility has been accepted and they have agreed to pay you the personal injury compensation you are due. Alternatively your claim can be disputed meaning the third party disputes your claim and the claim is taken to court. This will be dealt with entirely by our solicitors. From here two things can happen you can lose the case and pay no costs but also receive no compensation. Or you can win the case and be rewarded the full 100of compensation.
